The Consydera Group is born

The European hub for high-tech metalworking now has a name: Consydera.
It is the result of a growth and consolidation strategy promoted by 21 Invest, a European investment group founded and led by Alessandro Benetton, which since 2020—starting with its investment in Aussafer—has supported the integration of complementary companies to create a leading industrial group.

Consydera brings together three companies from Northeastern Italy—Aussafer (San Giorgio di Nogaro) and Ramo (Povoletto) in the Udine area, and Laserjet (Poiana Maggiore) in the Vicenza area—as well as the German company Hailtec (Stuttgart). Three targeted acquisitions have formed a Group offering a full range of high-value-added metalworking services, from high-precision laser cutting to robotic welding. The Group is capable of supporting customers from co-engineering to the finished product, with a business unit focused on prototyping electric motors.

Today, Consydera covers an area of over 100,000 m², employs 500 people, and generates a turnover of over €100 million (30% of which comes from international markets), with multiple production sites serving more than 1,200 customers across 30 countries, through 50 different technologies, 100 cutting-edge machines, and Italy’s largest laser department.

This journey—and these figures—called for a new name that would reflect the Group's profound evolution over recent years.
Consydera has its roots in two powerful and symbolic words: sideros, iron, and sidera, stars. Two elements that represent the solidity of metal and the aspiration to reach excellence. The prefix “con-” emphasizes the importance of collaboration, the sharing of know-how, and a shared commitment to an ambitious goal: to lead the steel processing industry to new standards of excellence.

Aussafer remains the core of the project, consolidating its expertise in thin sheet and magnetic steel processing. Ramo contributes its skills in die design and cold stamping for strategic sectors such as refrigeration, heat pumps, furniture, and generators. Laserjet stands out for its high specialization in co-engineering and the production of larger, more complex components through advanced welding processes. Finally, Hailtec strengthens the Group with its micro-precision mechanical know-how, focusing on ultrashort-pulse laser technologies and medical applications.

Consydera

Consydera is built on a vision of continuous growth and innovation, supported by a solid quality system that integrates prevention and control at every level. The use of advanced verification and measurement technologies goes hand in hand with the evolution of production processes, ensuring cutting-edge solutions for customers to meet the challenges of an increasingly demanding global market.

With a clear strategy, targeted investments, and a strong identity, Consydera positions itself as a strategic partner of excellence for the international manufacturing industry.

“Consydera was born from the union of four companies that share the same values: the centrality of people, a drive for innovation, and continuous investment in advanced technologies. We have a common and complementary vision, which allows us to be both highly specialized and incredibly diversified: from precision laser cutting with 5-micron tolerances on millimetric components to the construction of complex structures up to 14 meters in length. Today, we are a leading industrial player with unique know-how in our sector, and we look to the future with the hope of involving new companies that share our values and wish to grow together with us within the Group.”
